Wonderful result. Thank god you saved so much cash on those little plastic knobs so you could pay the bill for the laser cutter lol
Probably a sarcastic comment but I'll address it anyways. Laser cutter is justified because nothing else can achieve the same/equivalent result. Those black plugs which I only wanted for aesthetic reasons could easily be replicated using my printer. Saving 40$, I can easily use that cash to buy 2 more sheets of plywood for my next project. You have to be smart on where you can save and where you need to spend. Thanks for watching.

How much preplanning went into this thing?
Months before even a single piece of wood was cut
It does matter when it catches on fire, insulation testing is irrelevant. You are using a build bias against the actual science of house fires from electrical equipment. Wrong test. F again.The only way to test is to set it on fire and a normal computer case on fire and compare the damage to your house. Thats what the fire brigade do every Monday. You are going to kill someone with misinformation. Awesome skills though, forget wood for electrical equipment, go look at your fuse box in your house, thats what the inside should look like. Line the case with metal then attach the wood!
This test was to compare the component temperatures in a metal vs wood case as many viewers constantly say they would be worse because wood is an insulator. Yes wood is more flammable than metal I think everyone knows that. Yes there is a higher risk of fire than a regular PC. I did not say it's fireproof, and neither is a normal computer with flammable plastics within or around them. Thank you for your concern.
@@mxcbuilds6633 I love what ur doing but ur wrong, the ones with plastics are outside the case! Same for any equipment, you always see the melted plastic outside the metal structure. You just need a redesign. Never attach anything directly to wood. All the other channels that do a heat test to a broken pc the temps are around 138 degrees and uou have tested a computer that is on fire. It’s very naive right.

Beautiful way to burn your house down, its essentially a heater made of wood, there is a reason why electronics that require heat to function are in metal cases, i didnt see any fire protection in the case. If you fix that Ill take the F away and give you an A++ but it is visually stunning. I just built a new house and it wouldnt be covered by insurance if that computer was in it and it made magic smoke i see in bricked computers. Same reason your wood working equipment is all steel.

The cable combs may be enough for you to appease your OCD.... not that I would say it looks bad, but it's not enough for my extreme OCD!!! I've been planning to install free-floating cables for 5-6 years, but that's a job for a "precision mechanic" / server electronics engineer combined I've been looking for the right cables for over 2 years... and now I have a 100 meter roll in blue, but I don't like the color anymore (Sigh) I'm a fan of Hans Peder Sahl's R40 and R80 design but without cable ducts and combs The worst thing is, find a cable straightener for 3-5 mm diameter.... There is something like this for copper pipes but they are also larger and simpler

I guess if you require the rotary tool it'll be better to look at another model. I don't think I'll be using the rotary function much hence this model will suffice for me :)
